Sunblock - Sunscreen For Your Body

It is just as important to use sunscreen on your body as you did on the face. If you usually spend your outdoors for sports, you need something with high SPF protection of SPF50 (minimum). If not, you just need to get something from between SPF15-30. Studies show that you need to apply sunscreen and sunblock on your body 20-30 minutes before sun exposure for the sunscreen to get absorbed onto your skin.

Always shake the bottle well before pouring the sunscreen onto your palm, to ensure that the sunscreen is well mixed. Massage the sunscreen in a circular motion onto your body. You only need to apply sunscreen on the exposed skin.

We conducted a survey and it shows that people prefer sunscreens with the following qualities.
1. Non-greasy
2. Provide protection against both UVA and UVB rays
3. Not overdrying
4. Whitening effects

Ginvera sunscreen comes out top as favorite among majority of our readers. It is non-greasy and has SPF15 protection. It is creamy in texture so it takes a while before the sunscreen sits in.

Other sunscreens that have been used by our readers include (in order of popularity - most popular on top of list)
